This guy is truly enlightened. Do you have a link to the article? There is only one for the picture.

Ditto on the need for the link to article! I'd also like to point out that I'd do almost anything for an Austin Healy 3000.

Oh god.....the A-H 100. My favorite sportscar ever. Did you know when they unveiled it at the London motor show, Donald Healey had them park it with the nose to a column because he thought the front was awful?

That front end is unrestrained joy. I can't believe he would even think such a thing.

I can't decide who's the support car.
Is the Landy carrying spare parts for the Healey, of is the Healey carrying spare parts for the Landy?
Only kidding, I love them both.
I look at a Healey and for the life of me I can't figure what model and what colour I'd want. They are so incredibly beautiful in all models and colours.
I mean look at this one and tell me your not in love with it. Steeply raked windscreen, two tone wedgewood blue over white, chrome bumpers, wire wheels, leather strap across the bonnet, etc...

Healys were really cheap for as long as I can remember, are they not anymore?

I totally agree. Ah, to be idly rich.

I don’t get workaholics either, my dad retired and then was headhunted by an oil company and he is still at it, he’s 67.
I would do the P-P every year with a different car for variety. And WTF is Leno doing, he should do it once with a Bentley.

Cripes, my dad is the
exact
same way. He’s 68 and well able to retire (my mom already has - in fact, she has basically left him in Wyoming, and moved into the “golden years” condo they bought in Colorado already). He has “retired” twice in the last ten years.
But he’s still at it. He’s the pres. and CEO at a firm now that has begged him to stay on, and he agreed to a three year extension of his contract back in December.
Give it up man! If I could retire tomorrow, I wouldn’t even bother giving notice, and I wouldn’t look back.
